|
Derivative writing is not exactly plagiarised, but is strongly influenced
by the sources

discipline
|
A particular subject area, eg, management, education, information science

quoting
|
Using the exact words from a source (You must provide an
author-date reference.)

reference list
|
The list of sources that you have used in your assignment (includes all the
books that you have referred to in the body of your assignment, but not
necessarily all the sources that you have used!

sources
|
The books, journal articles, newspapers, websites, and even personal
communication that you have used
|

voice
|
‘Writing in your voice’ means writing in your own words, rather than
simply copying chunks from other sources
